 Digimapas Chile Aerofotogrametria Ltda. has acquired a state of the art airborne sensor system from TopoSys GmbH, which will allow Digimapas to serve as the
unique Chilean service provider to the primary national industries from forestry, mining and infrastructure. The acquired
system consist of an European made laser scanning system, two north American digital cameras and the necessary airborne navigation
equipment from Canada.
The headquarter is situated in Chileīs capital Santiago, having access to all necessary
human, intelligence and hardware resources. The present team is formed by sophisticated and highly specialized staff members
from Chile, Brazil and Europe.
Digimapas Chile is at present the most advanced spatial information company in Chile,
due to the combination of latest technology and an experienced team of more than 20 years in remote sensing applications.
The portfolio of products includes, among others: The delivery of high precision digital elevation models, true ortho
imagery, base-, cadastral and topographic maps. Requests for special applications are addressed by adding value to Digimapas
standard products, which allows the ability to generate almost any thematic map interpretation product desired.
The
company has recently received a contract for mapping more than 73 000 kmē of Chilean territory to generate high resolution
and high precision elevation models in combination with digital imagery for forest applications. Until the beginning of June
2007, more than 19 000 kmē of products are ready to be delivered to customers.

Airborne LiDAR
TerraTec was the first company

cm horizontally and 4-7 cm vertically. TerraPos is the ideal positioning solution for any moving platform.
